RG&E Proud to Sponsor 2011 Nazareth College Dance Festival

RG&E is proud to announce its sponsorship of the 2011 Nazareth College Arts Center Dance Festival: What is Dance?, to be held July 8-16, 2011, at the college. Sponsorship funding for the festival was provided by RG&E through the Iberdrola USA Foundation.

“RG&E is pleased to help bring the second edition of this fine festival to the people of Rochester and Western New York,” said Kevin Walker, chief operating officer, Iberdrola USA. “Top-notch performance arts like the Nazareth College Arts Center Dance Festival are important cultural assets for our region that not only improve the quality of life here; they have large positive economic impacts on the area as well.”  

This year’s Festival will run for nine days and will include main stage performances as well as free outdoor performances, lectures, panel discussions, strolling parades and master classes. In 2010, the inaugural Dance Festival drew more than 6,000 participants to the Rochester region.
